Remisens Hotel Epidaurus, Cavtat

The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms had an adjoining door making it easy to hear conversations from next door until late, but the room itself was spacious with bunk beds and a queen-sized bed along with a large bathroom. Being on the 4th floor with no elevator access was inconvenient. The service had a generous French-speaking crowd, and there was an attempt for a complimentary upgrade for my 70th birthday without directly asking, although some staff behavior was not very professional. The location was decent, situated close to a charming seaside area with the option for a convenient boat transfer to Dubrovnik. The surroundings could use some improvement, with the sun loungers getting occupied very early in the morning, but the presence of cute kittens added some entertainment value. The dining experience was average, mainly serving during specific hours with a somewhat crowded atmosphere. Despite some drawbacks, the scenic views and proximity to Dubrovnik were positive highlights.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were modern and comfortable, with some unique features but had a few design flaws. The service was a bit hit-and-miss, with one staff member standing out negatively. The location was beautiful but needed some maintenance, especially by the pool area. The dining options were decent, with a good variety available. Overall, the hotel offered some value for the money but had room for improvement in various areas.

The hotel is situated ideally with its own pebble beach and offers a great view. Water sports and boats to Dubrovnik are easily accessible. The rooms exceeded our expectations, especially with the separate area for our son, though the wardrobe size was a bit limited. The dining experience had a good selection of Fish, Meats, Vegetarian, and Children's Meals, but the coffee and juice quality was disappointing.
